to protect the surface of the skin and allow for quick results
and a comfortable treatment. Only the skin beneath the surface
is affected by the laser. The final result is firmer skin with

| How does the laser skin tightening
treatment work? |
| |
| Laser skin tightening occurs when subsurface heat is
created in the dermis of the skin. The dermal layer of the
skin is rich in collagen fibres, as these collagen fibres age
they become loser and sparser than “younger” collagen fibres.
When the ageing collagen fibres are heated they contract and
tighten causing a skin tightening effect and improvement in
the tone and texture of the skin. Also by heating the dermis
this causes the production of new collagen fibres which will
continue for the next four to six months after your treatment. |

| We recommend a course of 4-6 treatments every 4 weeks for
maximum results. Optimum results are evident around 90 days
after your last treatment to allow the new collagen fibres to
be produced, course details available on request. |

drainage and pressure point massage. The laser technology
targets the surrounding eye area (excluding the eyelid) to

is followed by a cooling eye mask and treatment creams. A
