Global Eyecon
The global eyecon is a unique treatment program designed specifically for the eye area. The eyes typically show the first signs of ageing as the skin is 5x thinner than the rest of the face. This can happen due to ageing, pigmentation problems or just general wear and tear and damage to our skin.
Global Eyecon treats the main signs of ageing around the eye area, including:
Expression lines & wrinkles
Undereye bags
Dark circles
Loss of elasticity
Drooping upper eyelids
A course of 6 treatments is recommended, spaced every two weeks for optimum results. The course will alternate peels and microneedling.
Before Treatment
Avoid alcohol the day before micro-needling treatments.
Do not use creams containing retinol for 72 hours.
During Treatment
Eye Peel – The solution is applied around the eye contour to remove dead skin and break down excess pigmentation. This will smooth the skin and help to reduce dark circles.
Microneedling – An anaesthetic cream is applied to the skin for 20/30 minutes before the treatment begins to make the treatment pain-free. The microneedling creates tiny punctures in the skin around the eye area to kickstart collagen and elastin production. This will help to strengthen the skin, reduce expression lines, and lift and tighten drooping eyelids.
You may feel a mild warmth during both treatments.
After Treatment
The skin will be red with mild swelling.
Do not touch the skin immediately after the treatment.
A tight, tender feeling and the skin may become dry and flake in the first few days. Do not pick the dry skin. Allow this to flake off naturally.
Pat dry skin after shower or bath.
Do not use perfumed, AHA or Alcohol containing products for 48 hours.
Do not go swimming or use steam rooms and saunas for 4-5 days.
