Laser/IPL Hair Removal
Laser/IPL hair removal offers a long-term solution to reduce unwanted hair for men and women permanently. A course of 6 to 8 Laser/IPL treatments is recommended every 4 - 8 weeks to follow the hair growth cycles. Treatments will leave your skin feeling smooth, soft and free from painful in-growing hairs.
Our machine has an IPL and Nd: Yag laser to treat different skin types and colours. We cannot treat grey or white hair. To treat white fluffy facial hair, we recommend the Alkaline Wash treatment.

Before Treatment
Avoid waxing, bleaching, tweezing, hair removal creams and electrolysis for 3-4 weeks before your first treatment and throughout the treatment course.
- You can shave or cut the hair.
- Avoid using sunbeds for four weeks.
- Avoid fake tanning for one week.
During Treatment
A cooling gel is applied to your skin during the treatment, and the Laser/IPL system is pulsed over the area to be treated. With each pulse, the hair will absorb the Laser/IPL light to create a heat reaction in the follicle base, preventing hair re-growth over time with multiple treatments. During each treatment, all hairs are treated.
After Treatment
Irritation, a mild itching or warm sensation (like sunburn), may occur immediately or within 48 hours.
Make-up can be applied several hours after treatment if the skin does not feel sensitive, sore, or irritated and the skin is not broken. Remove make-up carefully with cleanser and pat dry, do not rub your skin as this will irritate it.
Avoid strenuous exercise, steam room, sauna and hot baths for 4-5 days.
Wash and bathe as usual in a lukewarm shower, pat dry skin and apply the recommended home care products.
The hairs will remain in the follicle for 1-3 weeks after the treatment, then your body will remove the hairs by pushing them out of the follicle. As you can only see the skin’s surface, this will look like the hairs are continuing to grow. However, the hairs are not attached to the follicle and will fall out. This leaves your skin feeling smooth and soft with very little hair growth. When the hairs start to regrow, you will need another treatment. Hair growth is reduced or removed over multiple treatments.
