TCA Peel
A TCA peel is a non-invasive skin treatment that causes the dead cells to crumble to speed up exfoliation and cell renewal and stimulates collagen production.
TCA peels treat skin discolouration, such as pigmented marks, sun damage, acne, and scarring. Due to intense exfoliation, fine lines and wrinkles will also be reduced.
A course of 6 treatments, spaced every 2-3 weeks, is recommended for optimum results.

Before Treatment
Your skin must be in good health before this peel, and you will be advised to use homecare products for 15 days, morning and evening, to prepare for treatment. This will help minimise downtime and strengthen and hydrate your skin.
Retinol or Vitamin A products should not be used 15 days before treatment.
After Treatment
Directly after your peel, you may experience some redness; this will fade within 24 hours.
No water can be applied to the skin for up to 6 hours.
TCA acts on skin proteins and triggers protein coagulation which leads to the appearance of white frost on the skin.
You may experience heavy peeling three to seven days after your treatment. Skin MUST NOT be picked, peeled, or scratched. Loose skin or peeling will come off on its own.
Do NOT exfoliate or use active ingredients, including acid, until your skin has peeled and healed.
Avoid make-up for 24 hours.
Avoid UV exposure and DO NOT use sunbeds, swimming, saunas, hot yoga, or other heat treatments.
