Seborrhoeic Keratosis is a very common skin lesion often developing in older age, they are harmless and it is not known what actually causes the condition. They can appear anywhere on the body and look like wart-like growths on the surface of the skin, range in colour from a light tan to back. They vary in size from a few millimetres to more than two centimetres.
You may need 1-3 treatments, spaced every 4-6 weeks.
- Avoid using sunbeds for 4 weeks before treatment
- Avoid fake tan for around 1 week before treatment
The seborrhoeic keratosis will appear darker and will begin to flake away as the skin is healing and repairing.
It is important that you do not exfoliate or try to remove this from your skin. Please leave your skin to heal after the treatment.
