Milia

Milia is small, raised, pearly-white or yellowish bumps on the skin and around 1-2 mm in size. Milia are a type of small skin cyst filled with keratin. They are commonly found in clusters on the cheeks, nose, forehead, chest, eyes, and eyelids. Milia can be easily treated using the Cryopen, this freezes the Milia, and they flatten and shrink or disappear after the treatment.

We can treat milia on the face, body, and eyelids.

Benefits

During Treatment

The nitrous oxide is sprayed over the Milia for a few seconds. A slight stinging sensation may be felt.

After Treatment

Redness and soft swelling may occur immediately or within 24 hours.

Irritation, a mild itching, or a warm sensation (like sunburn) may occur immediately or within 48 hours.

Do not touch, pick, or irritate the skin after treatment; this will slow down the healing process.

Your skin should be left to heal in its own time.

Milia will slowly flatten or disappear.
